  Litigation and Transactional Law Attorney - Associate<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\r\n

  This is a hybrid position with the opportunity to work out of our Norristown or Doylestown offices to be determined.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

  The successful candidate will have 4-5 years of relevant experience\u00a0managing all aspects of civil and business litigation, corporate and real estate transactions including:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

  Litigation<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\r\n

  \r\n
  • Providing strategic legal advice and counsel to clients in civil and business litigation matters<\/li>\r\n
  • Representing clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and negotiations<\/li>\r\n
  • Drafting and filing pleadings with Pennsylvania state and Federal courts<\/li>\r\n
  • taking and defending depositions, motions, discovery requests and responses<\/li>\r\n
  • Working independently and collaboratively with litigation practice group members to achieve successful case outcomes<\/li>\r\n
  • Assisting firm partners in litigation practice group matters<\/li>\r\n
  • Trying cases as either first or second chair<\/li>\r\n
  • trial prep and trial assistance<\/li>\r\n
  • conducting proficient legal research<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

    Transactional Law<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\r\n

    \r\n
    • Providing strategic legal advice and counsel to businesses and individual clients in transactional matters<\/li>\r\n
    • Drafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial contracts and other documents<\/li>\r\n
    • negotiating with counterparties<\/li>\r\n
    • advising on corporate governance matters<\/li>\r\n
    • creating legal entities<\/li>\r\n
    • Experience in mergers and acquisitions, real estate purchase transactions and\/or commercial leases, and compliance<\/li>\r\n
    • Identifying potential legal issues related to business practices and policies and advise staff and management<\/li>\r\n
    • Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:<\/li>\r\n
    • Experience in Eastern PA counties including Philadelphia, Montgomery, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lehigh preferred. Mid-Atlantic states (New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, District of Columbia licensing\/experience a plus<\/li>\r\n
    • Self-motivated team player with strong work ethic<\/li>\r\n
    • Exceptional organizational, time\/billing management skills and attention to detail<\/li>\r\n
    • Excellent computer skills with experience in law practice management softwares and document management systems a plus<\/li>\r\n
    • Desire to advance within the firm<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

      Qualifications<\/span><\/h4>\r\n

      • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.<\/li>\r\n
      • Admitted to the Pennsylvania State Bar and in good standing<\/li>\r\n
      • 4-5 years of experience practicing litigation and transactional law work<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

          Experienced Legal Assistant<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\r\n

          This is a hybrid position working out of our Norristown office.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

          The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience providing legal administrative support including:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

          \r\n
          • New client intake, opening, updating and maintaining client matters and documents in electronic case management and document management software, and paper files as needed.<\/li>\r\n
          • Run conflict checks.<\/li>\r\n
          • Draft, type, format, proofread and edit correspondence and legal documents.<\/li>\r\n
          • Photocopy, scan, file, fax, and mail documents.<\/li>\r\n
          • E-file and\/or paper file legal documents with various courts.<\/li>\r\n
          • Maintain attorney calendars with detail and accuracy, including court dates, scheduling client appointments, deadlines, and reminders per firm policies and procedures.<\/li>\r\n
          • Schedule court reporters and couriers.<\/li>\r\n
          • Prepare check requests for attorney reimbursements and client costs, and track and save attorney credit card receipts.<\/li>\r\n
          • Provide backup support to other attorneys and assistants and receptionist as needed.<\/li>\r\n
          • Other secretarial duties as needed.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

            Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:<\/span><\/h4>\r\n

            • Exceptional communication, organizational, and time management skills<\/li>\r\n
