Hannah E. Posencheg is an associate attorney at High Swartz LLP’s Norristown office. She works with firm attorneys on a variety of matters including employment, corporate, education, real estate, and trusts and estates. Hannah is particularly drawn to legal work that allows her to apply her knowledge to practical, people-centered situations where she can make a meaningful impact in her community.
Hannah first joined High Swartz in 2021, managing client communications and supporting daily office operations. She returned in 2024 while in law school as a Law Clerk, assisting attorneys across multiple practice areas and gaining hands-on experience in legal research, drafting legal pleadings and contracts, and client service.
She earned her Juris Doctor from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Jeffrey S. Moorad Sports Law Journal and a member of the Student Bar Association. Her published comment, “Winning Inside Out: How the Creation of Protective Mental Health Clauses Could Elevate Professional Athlete Performance,” examines the current landscape of mental health protections in professional sports, focusing on player contracts in the NFL and NBA. Through her work with the journal, Hannah explored emerging issues at the intersection of sports, employment, and labor law.
Hannah received her B.A. in Political Science from Dickinson College, where she was a member of the Women’s Lacrosse Team. She now serves on the Dickinson College Women’s Lacrosse Alumni Council and remains active in the college’s athletic community.
Hannah lives just outside Philadelphia, where she enjoys cooking, playing tennis, and spending time with her fiancé and their two dogs.
