Paige Phillips, a rising 3L at Villanova University, joins High Swartz LLP this summer as a law clerk. Paige came to Pennsylvania from the Midwest and has shown a track record of important legal compliance experience in the Philadelphia area.
From Akron to the Main Line
Paige grew up in Ohio and attended Baldwin Wallace University, where she played Division III soccer and earned a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management. Her major led her to discover an interest in sports law.
Sports, Compliance, and the Law
Paige brought that interest to the Philadelphia area, one of the country’s top sports markets. Previous internships were spent in the Athletics Compliance offices at both Villanova University and the University of Pennsylvania. She also worked in the marketing department of the Cleveland Cavaliers, rounding out a professional background that spans compliance, operations, and communications in collegiate and professional sports.
"I am grateful to be spending the summer with High Swartz gaining practical experience in a wide range of legal areas. Additionally, I'm excited to learn from the firm's attorneys and gain valuable insight from their experience and mentorship."

Futsal For the Win
Paige's competitive streak did not stop when she graduated from Baldwin Wallace. She recently helped her team win the championship in Villanova's Futsal intramural league.
Futsal is a fast-paced indoor version of soccer played on basketball courts with a smaller ball. Paige’s team was made up of other Villanova law classmates.
Her Work at High Swartz LLP
Paige is focused on developing her skills in transactional law this summer. With her background bridging sports, business, and compliance, she brings a perspective the firm is glad to have on board.
She says she hopes to stay in the region to start her career after law school.
We are looking forward to working with her this summer here at the firm. Welcome Paige!
